Kelly Jenkinson
I have been involved in breeding and exhibiting English Springer Spaniels for almost forty years, working alongside my parents under our kennel affix ’Eastriding’. The journey has been incredibly rewarding, and I was fortunate to be mentored by the late Jean Taylor of Cleavehill fame, whose guidance was invaluable.
I awarded my first set of Challenge Certificates (CCs) in English Springer Spaniels in 2008 and have judged them on several occasions both in the UK and abroad. At the age of thirteen, I achieved my first homebred champion, and over the years, I have won Best of Breed (BOB) at Crufts as well as Best Puppy (BP), both with homebred dogs on separate occasions. In addition to English Springer Spaniels, I am also qualified to award CCs in American Cocker Spaniels, Cocker Spaniels, Welsh Springer Spaniels, and Golden Retrievers.
Returning to Sweden to judge the breed again after seventeen years is genuinely exciting, and I am grateful to the Club for the kind invitation.
Warm regards,
Kelly
